Plumbing services for Marana homes and businesses

Most of our calls fall into a few groups. Leaks and broken pipes lead the list, followed by water heaters and clogged drains. Pages like leak detection, water heater repair and drain cleaning explain each problem in plain terms.

Planned work gets its own pages too, including tankless water heaters and water softeners and filtration. Pick the card that matches your problem, or call and describe what you see.

Water Heater Replacement

A failed tank, a leaking shell or a heater past repair. We remove the old unit and set a new one with a clear price first.

Drain Cleaning

Clogged sinks, tubs, floor drains and branch lines cleared day or night, with the cause found so the clog does not return.

Water Heater Repair

A puddle under the tank, a wet edge at the garage slab, or no hot water at all. We find the fault and fix what can be fixed.

Water Heater Installation

Planned installs for new homes, remodels and upgrades, with the location, venting, power or gas, and permit questions settled first.

Tankless Water Heater

Tankless installation, repair and descaling for Marana homes, built around the local hard water that clogs heat exchangers.

Hydro Jetting

High-pressure water scours grease, scale and roots from sound drain and sewer lines when a snake only buys a few weeks.

Leak Detection

Water meter spinning with everything off, a jumped bill, or a warm floor? We find the hidden leak before anyone opens a wall or cuts concrete.

Sewer Line Repair

Cracked, rooted, bellied or collapsed sewer laterals repaired by spot repair, trenchless lining or replacement, with the trade-offs explained.

Sewer Camera Inspection

A waterproof camera runs through your sewer line to show cracks, roots, sags and blockages before you spend money on a fix.

Sewer Line Cleaning

Main sewer line blockages cleared from the cleanout, with grease, roots and debris removed and the cause explained.

Burst Pipe Repair

Water spraying from a cracked pipe or soaking through a wall? We stop the flow, repair or replace the broken section, and explain the cause.

Slab Leak Repair

A warm spot on the floor, water at the slab edge, or a spiking bill can mean a slab leak. We confirm it and lay out your repair options.

Water Service Line Repair

A leak or failing pipe between the meter and your house shows up as soft ground, low pressure, or a moving meter. We repair or replace the line.

Toilet Repair

Overflowing, leaking at the base, running nonstop or dripping inside the wall. We stop the water and repair or replace the toilet.

Faucet and Sink Repair

A faucet that will not shut off, a broken supply valve or a leaking shower or tub valve. We stop the flow and repair the fixture.

Garbage Disposal Repair

A disposal that leaks underneath, hums, jams or will not drain. We repair it, reconnect the dishwasher line or install a new one.

Water Softener and Filtration

Softener installs and service for Marana's hard water, with honest answers on salt, salt-free systems, sizing and what filtration needs.

Repiping

Repeated pinhole leaks, rusty water, or failing old pipe may call for replacement. We lay out whole-house and partial repipe options plainly.

Plumbing Installation

New fixtures, added water lines, gas piping, backflow devices and rough-in plumbing for remodels and new builds in Marana.

Commercial Plumbing

After-hours leaks, backed-up drains, grease traps and backflow testing for shops, restaurants, offices and property managers in Marana.

The first minutes of a plumbing emergency

A burst pipe or a failed water heater can move a lot of water in a short time. The steps below limit the damage while you call our 24/7 emergency line.

If you smell gas, leave the building first and call 911 and the gas utility before you call us. Stay away from outlets and panels if water is near them.

  1. Shut off the main water valve. Its location varies from house to house, so find yours before you ever need it.
  2. Turn off the water heater power or gas control if the tank is leaking, and keep clear of wet electrical equipment.
  3. Move rugs, boxes and electronics out of the wet area, and open a drain or hose bib to relieve pressure if you can.
  4. Take photos of the damage before you clean up, then call (855) 575-2890 and describe what you see.

What you see and what to do first

These are the symptoms we hear about most. Each row points to the page that explains that problem in more detail.

What Marana water means for pipes and heaters

Marana water comes from groundwater in the Lower Santa Cruz part of the Tucson Basin Aquifer. Several separate Marana Water systems serve the Town, and their hardness differs. The Town's May 2026 table runs from roughly 3 to 14 grains per gallon depending on the neighborhood.

That range matters because hard water leaves mineral scale on heating elements, tank bottoms, faucet aerators and shower heads. A home in the Gladden Farms area, at about 9 grains per gallon on average, sees less scale than the Marana airport system at 13 to 15. The Town says hardness poses no health risk, and we do not judge health effects of water.

If you shop for a softener, check whether the product uses ppm or grains per gallon. One grain per gallon is about 17.1 ppm. Your provider may differ by address, so confirm it on your water bill or with the Town's lookup before you rely on any figure.

Newer Marana homes are mostly built on concrete slabs, so supply and drain lines often run in or under the slab or through the attic. That makes a hidden leak harder to spot, and it is why a climbing water bill deserves attention early.

Neighborhoods we hear from

Gladden Farms is a master-planned community whose first homes date to 2004, and it now has more than 3,000 homes. Its Marana Municipal water averages about 9 grains per gallon. Water heaters in homes of that age may already have been replaced once, so look at the label on yours.

Continental Ranch was annexed by Marana in 1987 and has about 4,000 HOA homes near the Santa Cruz River and Cortaro Road. Building there began after 1992, which means many homes now have decades-old fixtures and shutoff valves. The Continental Reserve area sits on the Picture Rocks water system at about 12 grains per gallon.

Dove Mountain opened in 1998 in the Tortolita foothills and has about 5,000 homes. We do not have a published hardness figure for it, so check your bill for your provider. Saguaro Bloom is a new D.R. Horton community in northwest Marana, still under development in 2026, and it sits on the Airline/Lambert system at about 12 grains per gallon.

Picture Rocks lies in unincorporated Pima County, so its permits come from the county and not the Town. We also take calls from Rillito, Cortaro, Twin Peaks, Hartman Vistas, Oasis Hills, San Lucas, Linda Vista and Tortolita. The service areas page lays out ZIP codes and water systems.

What happens when you call

We keep the call simple so you can get back to protecting your home.

  1. 1

    Describe the problem

Tell us what you see, hear or smell, and where in the house it is. Details like a wet ceiling or a running meter help us pick the right approach.

  2. 2

    Get a clear price first

We explain the work and the price before anything starts. If the job changes once a plumber sees the problem, you hear about it before more work happens.

  3. 3

    Schedule the visit

We offer same-day appointments when available. We do not promise an arrival time, and we will tell you plainly if a visit has to wait.

  4. 4

    Get the repair done

A licensed plumber fixes the problem and explains what was found. Where a permit applies, we point you to the right office for it.

Permits and checking any plumber's license

The Town of Marana adopts the 2024 International Plumbing Code (IPC) with local amendments. Marana lists water heater replacement under its permit application process with a safety inspection, so confirm details with Development Services at (520) 382-2600. In Picture Rocks, Pima County rules apply instead.

Before you hire anyone, look up the license at roc.az.gov, the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. Plumbing classes include CR-37 for dual residential and commercial work, C-37 for commercial plumbing and R-37 for residential plumbing. The ROC advises you to make certain the license class allows the work in your contract.

Arizona 811 asks you to call 811 at least two working days before any digging, which matters if a buried line needs work. Ask any plumber who handles that call and when.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Our 24/7 emergency line runs at all hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Call (855) 575-2890 and describe the problem.

We do not promise an arrival time, but we offer same-day appointments when available.

Shut off the main water valve, then open a low faucet to drain remaining pressure. Keep away from outlets and wet electrical equipment, and call us while the water is off.

Photos of the damage before cleanup can help with an insurance claim.

It can be one factor. Hardness in Marana ranges from roughly 3 to 14 grains per gallon depending on the system, and mineral scale builds up inside tanks and on elements over time.

Age, usage and the heater's location also matter. Many water heaters sit in garages or attics that get very hot in summer.

Turn off every fixture, then watch the meter. If it still moves, close the main valve and see whether it stops.

A moving meter points to a leak somewhere between the meter and the fixtures. Our leak detection work finds where.

Yes. We serve Marana and nearby towns, including Picture Rocks in unincorporated Pima County. Permit rules there come from the county, not the Town.

We do not quote figures on the website because the cost depends on the problem, the access and the parts. You get a clear price before work starts when you call (855) 575-2890.

Search the Arizona Registrar of Contractors record at roc.az.gov before you agree to work. Check that the license class, such as CR-37 or R-37, covers the job.
